Chief Operating Officer

Kristen Jabbour

I am an American but I grew up most of my life overseas, where I had the opportunity to live in a dynamic, diverse and cosmopolitan city, Beirut. If you have not heard of Beirut, it is known as “The Paris of the Middle East” thanks to its French influences and vibrant cultural and intellectual life. However, as beautiful as Beirut is, it is not financially and economically stable; and that is how I ended up coming to Tulsa Oklahoma...

I graduated top of my class in Economics and Sociology from Antonine Sisters College; one of the best private schools in Lebanon. I am fluent in four languages; English, Arabic, Spanish and French and I hold the “DELF – DALF” diploma that is awarded by the French Ministry of Education corresponding to the Council of Europe’s Common Framework of References for Languages (CEFRL). Also, I had the opportunity to participate in the Global Council Lebanese American University Model United Nation (GC LAU MUN); assistant under Secretary General for Training and Education Development. I believe that this program enhanced my communication skills and promoted my self-confidence and I was able to achieve first place for creativity and expression awarded by the Lebanese University Association. I earned my Bachelor degree of Science, with Honors, in Financial Engineering from La Sagesse University. Financial Engineering is the use of mathematical techniques and analytical tools to create algorithms that are implemented in financial analysis to solve financial problems and the use of tools and knowledge from the fields of computer science, statistics, economics, and applied mathematics to address current financial issues as well as to devise new and innovative financial products. In other words, Financial Engineering is STEM; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. During my college years, I participated in a stock trading competition for daily trading on New York Stock Exchange and I won first place. Since then, I knew that I would have a lot to offer in the world of finance.

Today, I am proud to be attending Yale School of Management, and as the Chief Operating Officer at Fredric E. Russell Investment Management Co. I believe my extensive knowledge and skills in the finance industry, as well as my ability to listen, communicate and optimize performance will enrich the firm’s competitive advantage and that is giving clients a customized, unique experience and service where they are treated as a “friend” and not as a “client” in a first class, sophisticated environment.
